Noizio — Calm, Meditate, Sleep App Reviews

First off , I went to the website to read up , Saw that one of my favorite guitarist had chimed in ( Vernon Ried) Wow , ok I though I would give the app a shot . Started it up , Hit Play then added the Campfire , the Night sounds , and the Sun mark ( Nature Sounds) and blended them soft . Turned down the volume on the Mac to soft sound and The stress just drifted right off . Make your own environment . Zone out . very cool Audio quality too.

it is really a lovely app for study and read

Used to work but I hadn’t played with the app in a lonnnng time. It no longer launches. . .crashes with an error every single time. Obviously the developer didn’t do real world testing of any sort. This is on Yosemite 10.10.5. Deleted until I see evidence that app really works again. This is why so much of the Apple Store’s offerings are garbage. “There’s some crap for that.” SMH

Unable to open it. Just crashes. I’m on the El Capitan Beta, so I’ll cut it some slack.

Ive been using Noizio since March 2015 and find it effective and enjoyable. The typical American house or office is not quiet, with the sound of air conditioning, heating, refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, dogs barking, children playing outside, chainsaws, weed blowers, etc tending to interrupt or annoy. Nozio can cover most of those noises (except vacuum cleaners) pretty well. Im delighted that it is free, but would gladly pay. The only possible additional feature that comes to mind is a way to upload ones own sound loops. Other than that, I cant think of anything that would improve it.

Start-up crashing is all fixed. Everything’s awesome again! :) Original review: I loved this app, but after the latest update, it just crashes. I’ve reinstalled and jumped through hoops. I contacted the developer but received no reply. :(
